KL cops hope to use convenience store chain outlets as 'safety points' for crime prevention

A proposal has been sent to Bukit Aman to designate KK Mart outlets as safety points for the public to aid crime prevention, according to city police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus, when met at the launch of the first KK Mart outlet inside a police building at the contingent headquarters on Tuesday (Sept 15), said that there were around 700 outlets in the Klang Valley alone.
