KL wholesale market closed four days for sanitisation, says senior minister

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has clarified that the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market in Selayang was ordered to close for four days to allow sanitisation work to be carried out.
Ismail said that when asked to comment during his press conference on Tuesday, adding that the temporary closure was due to the high number of residents in areas under the enforced enhanced movement control order (EMCO), who also worked in the wholesale market.
The Senior Minister also elaborated on the sanitisation efforts carried out nationwide.
