KLIA gears up for F1 passenger surge

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is bracing for higher passenger traffic this weekend, with about 200,000 spectators expected for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 at the Sepang International Circuit.
Malaysia Airports has formed a special task force to manage passenger flow, while Gulf Air is adding six flights for the race weekend.
