KLIA immigration officer pleads guilty to accepting RM12,000 bribe

An immigration officer attached to KLIA's operations department, who was caught red-handed accepting a RM12,000 bribe to release two Chinese nationals, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
26-year-old Zalizi Ismail was also fined 20 thousand ringgit after pleading guilty to accepting the bribe without consideration in the Shah Alam Sessions Court on Wednesday (Dec 9).
