KLIA shooter was collecting medical report for new job in Saudi, say cops

The suspect who shot at his wife at the KL International Airport Terminal 1 was making preparations to work in Saudi Arabia, say police.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan told reporters on Saturday (April 20) that the suspect, Hafizul Harawi, 38, had gone for a medical check-up a week before the KLIA shooting incident, and it is believed he went to Kelantan after the shooting to collect his medical report as required for his new job.
Comm Hussein said police would apply for an extension of Hafizul remand that expires on April 22, and have recorded the statements of 27 people so far.
