Kok hopes ECRL prioritises local goods, China to buy more palm oil

Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok has expressed her hope that the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project will prioritise local resources, after the Government announced earlier that the project is back on track.
Speaking to reporters after attending the Nutrition Seminar - Living Healthy with Malaysian Palm Oil on Saturday, Kok said the Primary Industries ministry is also hoping that the development will result in China making more commitment to purchase Malaysian commodities, especially palm oil and rubber.
