Largest ‘Imperial Ship’ for the Nine Emperor Gods in Kedah ready for send off

This year’s celebration of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival in Alor Setar, Kedah saw the country’s largest ‘Imperial Ship’ ready to be sent off via Sungai Kedah on Oct 7th.
Self-taught craftsman Gan Kheng Leong outdid himself this year, spending two weeks to build the boat measuring 10.8m in length, 3.1m in width and 4m in height.
