Latheefa sworn in as MACC chief commissioner

Latheefa Beebi Koya took her oath of office as Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara on Tuesday.
Latheefa, 46, the first female chief commissioner of the MACC, replaces Datuk Seri Shukri Abdullah, who opted for early retirement before his contract ended in 2020.
