Leaving a gap between solar panels and roof spells disaster at Kedah school

Old ways of installing solar panels that leave a gap with the roof are a recipe for disaster during storms, said Deputy Education Minister Teo Nie Ching. During her visit to SMK Keat Hwa (1) in Alor Setar, Kedah on Monday, Teo pointed out the danger of such roofing design at the school which saw the roofing of six blocks of its building being blown off and damaged during a storm.
