Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam said the letter written by former intelligence chief Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) seeking support for the Barisan Nasional government is unforgivable.
He claimed that he had received information that someone in her office played her out by exposing the letter, and urged a thorough investigation.
Lokman said that at a National Day picnic in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, adding that the writing of the letter is an act of treason and cannot be tolerated.
