LGE’s trial adjourned as lawyer went for Covid-19 test

The corruption trial involving former Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng adjourned earlier than expected on Wednesday after Lim’s lawyer Gobind Sing Deo hd to go for a Covid-19 swab test after lunch.
In the hearing earlier, a former Penang exco member told the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court that he was instructed by Lim to contact representatives from the Beijing Urban Construction Group who were keen to help solve the state’s traffic congestion problems.
