LGE says shortfall of GST refund amount is larger than what he said last week

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has not only stood by his allegations that the previous government had falsified the Goods and Services Tax (GST) credit refund but also said that the shortfall in the trust account for GST refunds is bigger than what he reported to the Dewan Rakyat on Aug 9.
“The actual amount of shortfall in the fund for unpaid GST input tax is RM19.248bil, and not RM17.911bil which I had reported last week,” he said in Parliament on Aug 13.
