Liew defends IPCMC bill, says it's not “toothless”

In response to criticism made by an NGO that the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) Bill is a “toothless, limbless tiger", Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong said the NGO should not label the Bill without any proper knowledge or information, adding that the body will investigate under the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC).
He said this when met at the Parliament lobby on Monday.
