Lim: MoF to take action against banks that reject eligible housing loans

Finance minister Lim Guan Eng said action will be taken against banks that “deliberately” reject housing loan applications to those who are eligible.
Lim said that at the launch of Home Ownership Campaign-Malaysia Property Expo 2019 (HOC-Mapex 2019) for the Klang Valley region on Friday.
The Finance Minister also said buyers of residential properties priced between RM300,000 and 2.5 million would be able to enjoy stamp duty exemptions on the instrument of transfer for properties.
