LRT3 fault-free run yet to commence due to ongoing issues, says Loke

The fault-free run (FFR) for the Shah Alam LRT line, formerly known as LRT3, has yet to begin due to several unresolved issues, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a media briefing on Prasarana’s 2025 performance and 2026 outlook, Loke said a meeting will be held next week between Prasarana Malaysia Bhd and the main contractor to determine the next steps and to brief the Transport Ministry on when the FFR can commence.

He added that all 23 trains on the line must complete the FFR before trial operations can begin.
