M’sia and Thailand agree to implement VTL scheme

Malaysia and Thailand have agreed in principle to implement air, land and sea VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lane) to facilitate the movement of people of both countries.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that after a restricted meeting with his Thai counterpart Prayuth Chan o-cha on Saturday (Feb 26), added that they also discussed the construction of a second friendship bridge across Rantau Panjang and Sungai Golok, and for a new bridge from Pengkalan Kubor to Tak Bai to be expedited.
