M'sia to boost border security with tech, rather than building walls, says Home Minister

The Home Ministry will opt to use the latest technology to boost border security rather than building walls, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The Home Minister said this is because building walls or fences, such as the one proposed at the Malaysia-Thailand border along Sungai Golok, would incur a high cost.
