MA63 pledge must be respected and implemented, says PM Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) is a national pact that must be respected and implemented, stressing that its issues cannot be treated as solely concerning Sabah and Sarawak.
Speaking at the Malaysia Day celebration in Kuching on Wednesday (Sept 16) night, Anwar said nine MA63 matters had been resolved under the Madani Government, including electricity regulatory powers for Sabah and the transfer of Bintulu Port to Sarawak.
