Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said the anti-graft agency cannot verify the exact amount of funds stolen from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) until fugitive financier Jho Low has been captured.
She said this at a press conference on Friday when asked to comment on Attorney General Tommy Thomas’s statement that Jho Low stole over US$10bil from the state investment firm that was near impossible to recover.
