Macron, Xi hold informal talks at ancient dam site outside of Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping accompanied his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to Sichuan province during Macron's official visit in China on Friday (Dec 5).

Macron, alongside his wife Brigitte Macron, joined Xi and wife Peng Liyuan at the ancient Dujiangyan dam where the two leaders continued their informal discussions after their bilateral meeting in Beijing on Dec 4.

Brigitte also visited the giant panda that lived in France for six years - Yuan Meng - at Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding.
