Malaysia gears up for Asean leadership with focus on inclusivity and sustainability

Malaysia is committed to fostering strategic trust among nations through ongoing dialogue, diplomacy, and goodwill during its Asean Chairmanship in 2025, said Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

At the unveiling of the Hibiscus-inspired logo and the theme "Inclusivity and Sustainability" for the Asean-Malaysia Chairmanship on Tuesday (Oct 22), the Foreign Minister emphasised that Malaysia will prioritise inclusivity and sustainability in regional community-building efforts.

He also noted that Asean will mark the 10th anniversary of the Asean Community in 2025, and Malaysia aims to adopt the Asean Community Vision 2045, outlining strategic priorities for the next 20 years.
