Malaysia’s participation in the SEA Games this month will end the negative perception surrounding the gaming industry and pave the way for its growth in the country, Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said after meeting the national e-sports team at the Level Up Play gaming convention in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
He also expressed his confidence that Malaysia would become an Asian powerhouse in e-sports one day.
