Reigning world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei’s run in the Malaysia Open ended after the mixed pair went down to Hong Kong’s Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet in the quarter-finals.

The Malaysian duo fought hard in the first two games but could not find a way past the world No. 8 pair, and eventually ran out of gas and lost 17-21, 21-17, 10-21 at Axiata Arena on Friday (Jan 9).
