Malaysia records 92% in MCO compliance rate, needs to be improved, says Senior Minister

In a televised announcement on Monday, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the compliance rate of Malaysians towards the the movement control order is at 92% on Sunday, adding that this figure needs to be further improved.
The Senior Minister also reminded the public that all interstate and inter-district travel was prohibited at the moment, other than those who are working in the essential services and those with emergency cases.
Ismail Sabri said civil servants who are on duty would be issued with a letter notifying that they have to be in service, while employers in the private sector offering essential services are also required to prepare a letter for their staff.
