Malaysia’s inflation rate eases to 2% in July, says Economy Minister

Malaysia’s headline inflation continued to moderate to 2.0 per cent in July from 2.4 per cent in the preceding month, marking the 11th month of reduction, said Rafizi Ramli.
The Economy Minister on Tuesday (Aug 29) said curbing inflation is a government priority to prevent runaway inflation or a drastic and unmanageable rise in inflation.
