Malaysia’s shot at the Covid-19 vaccine

A Malaysian-made Covid-19 vaccine is expected to be ready in 2024, and will further pave the way for the country’s vaccine research capabilities.
The vaccine will also fill Malaysia’s need for extra booster shots if they are required in future, says the Institute for Medical Research (IMR), as the lead organisation behind the effort.
