The Philippines Armed Forces spokesman Brig Gen Restituto Padilla said Malaysian and Indonesian fighters were among those killed during a firefight in Marawi City, Mindanao. Twelve armed militants said Restituto, were killed when the Philippine Army engaged them and half of those who died are foreigners who have been in the country for years.
