Man claims trial for throwing Molotov cocktail at bank

A man was released on a bail of RM8,000 after he pleaded not guilty at the Sibu Magistrate's Court on Monday (Feb 13) to a charge of causing mischief.
Kuo Tai Tak, 36, was charged under Section 4 of the Corrosion and Explosives and Armed Weapons Act 1958 for throwing a Molotov cocktail onto the front door of a bank in Jalan Kampung Nyabor at 9pm on Feb 8, an act that caused a small explosion.
