Marzuki loses petition, Umno keeps Tasek Gelugor seat

The Penang High Court has dismissed an election petition filed by Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Marzuki Yahya to challenge the results for the Tasek Gelugor parliamentary seat in the May 9 general election. Justice Hashim Hamzah, who sat as the Election Court judge, dismissed the case based on the preliminary objection raised by first respondent and incumbent MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya of Umno.
