Maszlee: Media should not highlight negative news from just one school

Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik urged the media not to highlight negative news on just one school but also focus on the good found in other schools.
He said this when asked to comment on an article published on Nov 25th by an online news portal saying that SMK St Francis is operating a separate canteen offering halal food.
Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik said media which highlight negative news from just one particular school are not helping racial relations.
Dr Maszlee told reporters when met at Parliament lobby on Monday when asked to comment on an article published on Sunday by an online news portal saying that SMK St Francis is operating a separate canteen offering halal food.
Dr Maszlee said he did not want to comment until he has details on the issue.
