Maszlee on Sarawak PTPTN aid: Help is good but well-paying jobs are better

Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik said that although he welcomed the RM30 million allocation by the Sarawak government to assist students with their PTPTN loans, it is better for state governments to provide high-paying job opportunities for graduates.
Dr Maszlee told reporters that at the Parliament lobby on Wednesday, adding that better wages are more sustainable and will help increase the people’s economic status.
