MBSA conducts sting operation to send out message that it will not tolerate lawbreakers

Following strong public criticism over a Facebook posting by burger stall owner Mohd Asri Hamid, or Asri Janggut, on the alleged inefficiencies of its enforcement department, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) conducted a joint raid with several government agencies in the commercial area of Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh on Wednesday (Aug 12) to weed out foreign workers and demolish illegal structures.
Shah Alam deputy mayor Mohd Rashidi Ruslan said the council wants to send a clear message that it will not compromise with lawlessness.
