MCMC allocates RM13.7mil to acquire WiFi access points at USM, USIM, UNIMAP

The Communications and Multimedia Commission will allocate RM13.7 million to acquire over 2,000 WiFi access points at three institutions of higher learning, namely Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Perlis, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Fahmi, also the Unity Government spokesman, said the WiFI access points would be installed at the three IPTs from next January.
