MCMC blocked over 100 prostitution websites this year, says deputy minister

More than 100 websites offering prostitution services have been blocked as of Nov 15 this year, the Dewan Rakyat was told.
Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching said during the question and answer session in Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 21) in response to a question by Zulkifli Ismail (PN-Jasin) that the 118 sites were blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) upon the Royal Malaysian Police's request for violating community guidelines and went against the country’s laws.
