MCMC testing internet coverage along ECRL route ahead of Dec 12 launch

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is conducting internet speed tests along the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), including its 16 stations and tunnels, to identify coverage gaps ahead of the service's Dec 12 launch.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said the tests would help identify areas with no coverage or weak connectivity so that improvements could be made.
