MCO: Pay your zakat online, says minister

The government has set up an online payment method for Muslims to pay their zakat or tithe during the Covid-19 movement control order period.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri said the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) introduced the cashless initiative given the current circumstance.
