Medical team sent to chikungunya hotspot

A medical-cum-monitoring team from the Kedah Health Department has been sent to the suspected Chikungunya hotspot where 14 people were suspected to have caught the disease in Jalan Tengku Ibrahim, Alor Setar.
Kedah Health Department director Datuk Dr Norhizan Ismail said the team, separated into 16 groups, will check on the patients and monitor the area in front of City Plaza within a 200m radius.
