Melaka CM: DAP’s resignation letters closed door on state administration negotiations

Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh said DAP's abrupt exit from the state administration ended any chance of negotiations sought by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at Seri Negeri in Ayer Keroh on Wednesday (July 15), Ab Rauf said Anwar had personally urged him to leave room for talks after four DAP assemblymen withdrew support for the state government.
However, he said the opportunity vanished when DAP immediately submitted resignation letters for all its positions in the state administration.
