A Ukrainian military pilot, who Russia blamed for shooting down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in July 2014, was found dead at his home on Monday, having suffered gunshot wounds. Vladislav Voloshin, 29, has always maintained he was the victim of a smear campaign. Dutch investigators concluded that a Russian Buk missile had destroyed the Boeing 777 jet, killing 298 people.
