The death toll from the collapse of The Champlain Towers South condominium in Surfside near Miami Beach in Florida, US rose to three, and nearly 100 people remained unaccounted for a day after the tragedy on June 24.
US President Joe Biden approved an emergency declaration in Florida and ordered federal assistance to supplement state and local response efforts.
