Minister denies Putrajaya paying RM1.9b for Splash

Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Dr Xavier Jayakumar rejected a foreign news report alleging the government would buy out Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Holdings (Splash) for RM1.9 billion, saying negotiation was ongoing.
Singapore's The Straits Times had reported that the joint-funding deal was struck last week and could see the federal government fork out close to the sum while Selangor would pay a smaller amount.
He told a press conference after attending the National Land Celebration Day 2018 on Friday.
