Missing boat with six persons on board found off Pulau Kendi

After an almost 16-hour search, rescuers have found the boat with the skipper and five anglers that had been reported missing on Sunday (Feb 10).
The boat was found adrift about 37km south of Pulau Kendi, an island off the coast of Penang Island.
South Seberang Prai district police chief Supt Shafee Abdul Samad said the engine of the boat suffered a broken gearbox, but all passengers were found safe.
