MonSpace founder and directors pleaded not guilty to Pyramid Scheme charges

MonSpace founder and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Jessy Lai along with two directors of the company, pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court on Wednesday to charges for promoting and conducting a direct selling business without the Pyramid Scheme license last year.
Jessy Lai, also known as Lai Chai Shuang, Wong Tat Foong, and Chai Ling Mooi made the plea after the charge was read against them before Judge Manira Mohd Nor.
Lai was granted bail of RM400,000, Wong RM20,000 and Chai RM200,000.
