More than 1,000 medical retirees back on front lines, says Health DG

More than 1,000 retired health care workers have returned to serve on the front lines to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Health director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah revealed that in his daily update on Monday, adding that experienced nurses would be deployed to hospitals treating Covid-19 patients.
The Health DG also said his ministry is looking at ways to manage the retirees to accommodate their working hours.
