During his policy speech at Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's annual general meeting on Saturday, party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he hoped that Parliament would be dissolved after the Covid-19 pandemic is over to pave way for the general election where the people would be able to choose the government they want.
Muhyiddin, who is also the Prime Minister, said the government had signed another agreement with the COVAX facility to get Covid-19 vaccine to meet the immunisation needs of 10% of the Malaysian population.
On Friday, the government announced it had signed a deal with Pfizer to get a supply of 12.8 million doses of vaccine to immunise 20% of the population.
