Muhyiddin’s counsels questions vague charges, TikTok evidence

Lead counsel for former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Hisyam Teh Pok Teik, said the criminal charges against his client are vague, placing the defence at a disadvantage in preparing its case.
Speaking after trial proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Monday (March 9), he said the charge documents lack clear details on how the alleged offences were committed or what actions were purportedly taken by Muhyiddin.
Meanwhile, lawyer Datuk Amer Hamzah Arshad said the prosecution had yet to establish the relevance of TikTok videos presented in court by a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer.
