Mujahid: I ordered removal of LGBT activists’ portraits from George Town Festival

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa confirmed on Wednesday that he had ordered the month-long George Town Festival organiser to remove the portraits of two Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) activists Nisha Ayub and Pang Khee Teik from an exhibition. He said the portraits were promoting the group which was not in line with the Pakatan Harapan-led government’s policy.
