Muslims no longer need to bring their own ‘sejadah’ for congregational prayers, says Ismail Sabri

Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob told a press conference on Tuesday (Aug 25) that Muslims will no longer need to bring their own ‘sejadah’ (prayer mats) to the mosques for congregational prayers.
He said the government decided to ease the SOP after discussions with Religious Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri and the Health Ministry.
He reiterated that face masks are still mandatory.
