Najib: No more 'confrontational diplomacy' with Singapore

After inking a legally binding bilateral agreement to build a cross-border MRT line that will let commuters travel seamlessly between Woodlands North and Johor Baru on Tuesday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Malaysia does not want to return to "confrontational diplomacy and barbed rhetoric" when conducting bilateral relations with Singapore.
The signing is a concrete step towards the building of the 4km Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link, scheduled to be completed by Dec 31, 2024.
