Negri royal row: Undang, disputed chiefs tell PM, AGC to stay out of state matters

A Negri Sembilan Undang and three other ruling chiefs whose positions are in dispute have told Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) not to interfere in what they described as the constitutional prerogatives of the Undang Yang Empat.

In a joint statement on Friday (Sept 25), the group said the Prime Minister and AGC had no jurisdiction over the prerogatives they claimed were accorded to the Undang Yang Empat under Articles 10 and 11 of the Negri Sembilan Constitution 1959.
